I have the same problem on my iici also with 32 MB RAM. The same output in
dmesg. But here's a snip of my ps aux
root 96 0.0 1.6 260 252 ?? Ss Sat02PM 0:10.99
/sbin/dhclient -
root 5 0.0 367.1 0 60128 ?? DL Sat02PM 0:51.47 (aiodoned)
root 4 0.2 367.1 0 60128 ?? DL Sat02PM 25:29.16 (ioflush)
root 3 0.0 367.1 0 60128 ?? DL Sat02PM 1:49.26 (reaper)
root 2 0.0 367.1 0 60128 ?? DL Sat02PM 0:40.28 (pagedaemon)
root 1 0.0 0.5 296 64 ?? Ss Sat02PM 0:03.35 init
root 17436 0.0 1.9 96 296 p1 R+ 1:38PM 0:00.43 less
root 0 0.0 367.1 0 60128 ?? DLs Sat02PM 0:02.60 (swapper)
It's just a little high here too as you can see. I'm using a 1.5Q kernel.
I haven't updated the rest of my distribution. Has the ps command been
updated perhaps?
