That wouldn't surprise me at all.  I don't think OpenBSD pulled in
the bus_space changes that helped me get the SMC 10/100 card at least
partially working.  They were the source of a chunk of the slowdown.

The SS1+ at least has realy DMA and no bus_space hackery to deal with
big- and little-endian devices.  :-)

If it's a production machine and you don't _need_ to update, wait.
