Does anyone know why so many programs I try to compile on NetBSD fail with
undefined symbol errors?  I just don=B9t get it and the documentation doesn=B9t
do a good job explaining this.

For example, I just tried compiling bison and it bombed on me.  I've
compiled it before on 1.4.2 and 1.5, but 1.5Q doesn't like it.
