Noy quite the same problem here, but I have found that 1.5 is sensitive
to mouse movement during the boot sequence.  If I move the mouse, the
boot will hang.  This is reminiscent of a very old bug (back in the 0.9
days - shows how long I've had NetBSD running!) that was supposed to be
fixed years ago.
