No; the stuff you get with the 1.5.1 alpha is not what fixes the SCSI
speed issues. See Allan's previous post with a link to the patches that
you can apply to your 1.5.1 alpha.

The SCSI busses on the Q650 / Q800 are the same bus for both internal and
external. PowerMacs and the Q950, at least, have separate internal and
external SCSI busses.
