Yes, that's why I included the x16 at the end of the resolution for a stock
LC. An LC with 512K of VRAM will support 256 colors at 640x480
(640x480x256).

When I purchased my LC the 12" monitor was quite a bit cheaper than than
the 13" model and It was good enough for me to write papers with.

Which reminds me, does NetBSD support any of those expansion chassies that
you could buy for the LC? They allow you to add a PMMU/030 (depends on the
model) and still gives you a slow so you could stick a NIC in.
