Yeah, I use "dt" which is in the "misc" directory of the supfiles. 
That makes it white-on-black. To avoid the screwy problems with / and etc
keys, just be sure to edit the Makefile beforehand to tell the compiler
you want the keyboard in english and not finnish. Finnish is the default
keyboard layout with dt.
 
I usually run 3 dt sessions. In the first dt screen, I run the program
"screen". 
 
Lynx and ircII have some minor problems working with dt and screen
together, so I use the 2nd and 3rd dt screens to handle those apps. 
 
One REALLY nice feature of dt is that it gives your mouse support with
your standard MacOS cut-and-paste capability (apple-c, apple-v). dt also
gives you some supah-elite scrollback action.
