1.5Alpha snapshot kernel mis-identified Apple 1 button mouse
as Logitech 3 button on my LC475 too.

It seems that some adb_op_sync() takes more usecs than expected.
experimentally 8000us timeout make correct recognition of 1 button
mouse in my environment.
