Ok so thanks to Bob I have netatalk up. All I needed to do was add a
line to etc/rc.local. Now I can see the box in the chooser and can get
it as a volume on the mac's desktop...but only when I login in as guest.
it won't let me login any other way. And as guest I can't write to the
volume. How do I make the volume writable?
