I upgraded to 1.4.2.

Majordomo broke.

I've tracked it down to perl.

I tried to compile perl 5.6. It failed.
I found the binaries of perl 5.004 and perl 5.005 for 1.4.2. I tried to
install these. Now its can't find libperl.so.5.3 which is in
/lib/perl5/5.00503/m68k-netbsd/CORE/libperl.so.5.3. and I can't do a
pkg_add of libperl.

Have I hosed perl completely? Any ideas on how best to clean this up or fix it?
