Hi,

I am trying to get BIND running chrooted and as a unpriviledged
user. Everything is working fine except my named-xfer dies with signal 8
everytime it tries to do a zone xfer. 

Any ideas what would cause this? I built named and named-xfer static
(added -static to the CFLAGS).

I can't figure out what is causing this. (It would help if I knew exactly
what signal 8 was...)

Ideas?
