A "Hi" from my resurrected mail account,

booting netbsd.GENERICSBC from the latest binary snapshot gives me a dead
console. ADB stuff probes fine though. Hitting the NMI switch gives

(...) Panic switch: PC is 0x3766
(...)
db> t
cpu_Debugger(...)
nmihand0(...)
lev7intr(?)
mi_switch(7be4b0) + 12
_ltsleep(1f85a4,28,68afc,0,0) + 18e
_sched_sync(7be4b0) + 1fa
_proc_trampoline() + 2
db>

...from which you can guess that in the kernel debugger, the kbd works.

Booting multi-user, I can telnet in, but don't get a shell.

The GENERICSBC kernel from the previous snapshot works just fine.
