I've been told that its a good idea to make sure that if you use this
method (using newfs), you should make sure newfs is creating a BSD4.2 type
partition rather than the default, BSD4.4, because the latter is somehow
incompatible with the booter utility.

Also, I've been told that making the biggest partition (>1 gig or
something) the first physical partition on the disk is a good idea.
