Yes,

I have run it successfully compiled and run it on a Quadra 605 with full
68040 and NetBSD 1.4.2.  It works fine for small databases, but if they
get to large (i.e. 2+ MB) performance becomes an issue.  You'll want
lots of real RAM, at least 32 MB.  Hitting swap will kill your
performance.
