Subject: kde works! Well, almost...

I have gotten it to load on the Q840 and doesn't seem to take too long and
seems fairly responsive at least with respect to the keyboard equivalents. I
say keyboard equivalents because:

the mouse doesn't work.

I suspect that it is a kde startup problem since I don't know for sure what
to put in my .xinitrc file (and probably other files). I've tried getting
rid of the third party software that controlled my Kensington Turbomouse
trackball (version 3 -- an old 2 button), but to no avail.

Any ideas, O gurus :) ?

Pat
