Sorry if the nature of this post is a little "generic" ...

Does anyone have suggestions for references that would aid one in
interpreting sendmail's logfiles -- something to aid one in the process
of going through a log and qualifying entries along the lines of

   "This is nothing special"    or
   "This is something I should *really* worry about".

I've found a few things on sendmail.org and in RFC821, but I'd really
like to find a (relatively) concise reference.
