I think there is a configuration setting for that in most versions of the
Apple LaserWriter Utility.  Otherwise you need to learn PostScript and
download a program to change that parameter.  Such programs are "out there"
if you want to hunt for them.

The trick with printcap is to set up two entries:  one which does the
filtering and spools to the other which spools to the physical device IIRC.
