Hi Chris,
    The SE has a 68000 cpu like the original Macintosh ! To run un*x on
a mac it needs at least a 68020 with fpu and pmmu. Maybe you could try
MacMinix (minix 1.5.10.7) It`s a limited, but interesting unix-like os
running as application on top of macos 6 or better. You can even run it
without hd, with 800k floppy.
