Howdy!

When I run DT, the text-based desktop manager, it reports:
TIOCSCTTY: Operation not permitted

immediately after starting DT. It then launches three terminals, which is
correct. The first terminal, however, asks for a login and is frozen. I
can't type anything into it. The other two terminal screens work fine.

Now since you're supposed to exit all three terminals to exit DT, there is
a problem since I can't do anything on the first terminal. So what I do is
kill the dt process.

That brings me back to the regular terminal with some extra processes
running for some reason.

Getty is one of the processes.

If i then re-run DT, it works fine.

What am i doing wrong here?

mac IIci NetBSD 1.4
