I'm having some trouble compiling a new kernel for my 1.4 system. I
downloaded the file syssrc.tgz from the 1.4 source directory, extracted,
did "cd /sys/arch/mac68k/conf; cp GENERIC KENNY" and edited the file KENNY
to my liking. But when i tried "config KENNY" I got the error
config: not found
I don't find a program called "config" anywhere on my system. I installed
all the dist. sets except for x* and games. Am I misunderstanding
something? :^) The directions I've followed are at
http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/kernel/ .
By the way, I tried doing "cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/config ; make && make
install" (which I'd first skipped because I'm not following -current), but
I got the error
"Makefile", line 24: Could not find bsd.prog.mk
Fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
Any clues? Thanks.
Phil
