I should be more specific. Last I checked, our patch made mkisofs work.
We left the PR suspended, until mkisofs itself would be fixed (I corresponded
with its author back then, and he was willing to eventually resolve this in 
a (then) future version. I didn't check 1.11.3 myself, yet.
