Well, I tried updating all the other directories using -d flags to get the
missing pieces.  Found another one.

U mips/mips/db_disasm.c
cvs [server aborted]: unable to parse
/cvsroot/syssrc/sys/arch/mips/mips/db_interface.c,v; `state' not in the
expected place

And a third, this one in a critical directory:

U dev/ic/interwavevar.h
cvs [server aborted]: unable to parse /cvsroot/syssrc/sys/dev/ic/isp.c,v;
`author' not in the expected place

which was followed by a dump of thousands of lines of raw RCS data to my
screen -- had to reboot my machine.

This is using a freshly compiled cvs-1.10 using sources from ftp.gnu.org.
It doesn't appear to be a problem in the client, though, as I just pulled
a huge chunk of source from mklinux.org without any problems.
