port-mac68k: [: not found - problems with /bin/sh

I am getting [: not found whenever i run any script with /bin/sh that
contains brackets [].

I replaced /bin/sh with a new one and the result is the same.

I am running 1.3.2 on a mac SE/30 8mb ram

What can I do to fix this?
