Is there any reason why the "make readme" command in the pkgsrc
takes to long? Or is there another way to update the README.html
files?

  I left the machine doing the make readme for the 
whole collection.  eg: cd /usr/pkgsrc ; make readme
And it went for about 24 hours before I stopped it because it seemed
to slow the computer down.
  Then I checked to see how far it had gotten and found it was in the
middle of the /usr/pkgsrc/misc direcory when I stopped it. That is not 
even close to finished.
