It is. The latest update was on Aug. 29. Maybe your pkgsrc is
out-of-date?

I seem to recall, as well, that ncurses-4.2 wouldn't build if the old
ncurses were still installed. That's kind of an odd bug in ncurses;
in the general case, doing that would cause no problem.
