Hi everyone.

Last week I decided to upgrade from 1.3.2 to 1.4.1 to see if it fixes my
serial problems. Well, I don't know if it did, but the upgrade was a
complete mess. Nothing worked afterwards. No DHCP, No DNS, No PPP and No
X... and that was just the OS! Now I've got PPP and DHCP working, I need to
get named running. I notice that bind has changed significantly since 1.3.2
and doesn't support the same configuration files. All the books I have only
cover the previous version of named, which worked great for my internal
lan. Other than man pages (which are about as user friendly as a kick in
the nuts) is there a good source of info for configuring a small lan DNS
server?

Another thing I've noticed is that the man pages have a <AD> with inversed
video through them at odd points. Which didn't used to appear. It happens
on either the console or a telnet client with either vt100, vt220 or xterm,
any ideas?

Cheers, Paul.
