From somewhat of a newcomer to NetBSD, I have a question about the color
X-server that is often discussed on this list. I have no problems using the
1-bit X-server on my Quadra 650 with the full NetBSD 1.4 system installed,
but I'd like to try getting the color version on my system. I am a bit
confused by some of the information which I've read on various FAQ's and
HOWTO's regarding this topic because some of them provide conflicting
information.

Firstly, as mentioned above, I have a Quadra 650, and I also have a Radius
24XP Nubus video card in it. I've read that this card is not supported; it
also (and more importantly) causes a conflict with the onboard ethernet
which renders networking inoperable. Thus, I'm using the computer's onboard
video. I've also read that color support is not available for onboard
video, but some of the online FAQ/HOWTO pages still mention using the
onboard system. This is confusing.

1) Is it presently possible to enable color-X support using the onboard
video of a Quadra 650 ?
2) If so, are the instructions on the NetBSD FAQ for enabling this correct ?
3) If not, does anyone know the status of support for the Radius 24XP card ?
4) If no Radius support is NOT possible, can anyone recommend another old
card that I could look around for which works well with color X ?

5) And lastly, does anyone have any idea why I have a conflict between my
onboard ethernet and the Radius card ?

Thanks for your patience and for any info you could provide !
