although the server is kinda refusing to respond at the moment.  to get to
the code, you have to dig down a few levels from there.  i've glanced over
the code before, and although there seems to be a lot of HFS stuff in
there, i'm not quite sure all of it is implemented in the OS X kernel
(which is more or less what Darwin is).  if some of it is implemented in
userland, we won't have access to that code....
