Yeah, that line comes from root's login file -- you really should set up
another user for yourself. Aside from the man pages that an earlier
reply mentioned, there are also instructions in the =22Documentation=22
section of http://www.netbsd.org, and also in the HOW-TO section of
http://www.macbsd.com/macbsd.
There are lots of good guides on unix out there -- you can check your
local library or bookstore. Or, one place to go on-line is
http://www.geek-girl.com/unix.html. Yahoo's Unix section also contains
a number of useful references. =20
