First off, thanks to Frederick for his concise answer to my Q about
Netatalk and qhostscript. I think I've gotten everything configured
properly. The only problem is that when I print I get garbage instead of
the the picture of the tiger. The setup is a Quadra 700, 1.4 & Epson
Stylus 740 connected to the modem port at 57600. I was wondering if the
printer doesn't like the serial port speed. I was reading in the list
archives that the serial port speed is limited to 57600 in the kernel.
The epson driver will print from the Quadra on the Mac side so I know it
is possible. Someone (Bill? I think?) said that it's possible to up the
maximum speed by making some changes to the source, would someone like
to show me how? I'm looking forward to getting this printer working with
GS & PAP.

cheers,

Matt
