All,

Is anyone using xmcd 2.5 w/ NetBSD 1.4 successfully? I'm trying to
use it on a IIcx w/ the NCR SCSI driver, but when I do, the kernel
reports:

  cd0(ncrscsi0:6:0): cannot allocate scsipi xs

and the SCSI bus locks up (I can't access anything on the scsi bus
after this happens). I compiled xmcd under 1.4 to use the "SCSI
pass-through" method to talk to my CD-ROM drive (an Apple CD 300). I
was going to try the generic SBC kernel, but my system hangs on boot
w/ that one (at the point where it normally starts init...).

xmcd 2.5 worked on my system under NetBSD 1.3 (well, it couldn't play
or seek tracks properly w/ all CDs, but at least it didn't hang the
SCSI bus).
