I never had this problem personally, so I cannot say much...  Is it
possible for you to install xv (preferably from pkgsrc), take a screen-
shot, save it as a GIF or JPEG file, and view it on MacOS (with
JPEGView or something)?  If it looks ok, it's probably a server bug.
If it doesn't, it could be mozilla.
