Just a note,

I've been using the Apple Com slot card with the SONIC chipset on my
LC575 with 68040 and kernel 1.3.3-104 (device = sn0). It works GREAT if I let
the computer boot with extensions enabled (including the ethernet).

However if I boot with extensions disabled, the kernel panics upon
"configuring network interfaces" with a bus error. I can provide more
dump info if it's useful.
