With Michael Z's help, I was able to figure out enough of this page

http://www.linkclub.or.jp/~gabezing/

To get my performa 575 to work at 800x600. It now thinks it has a SVGA monitor
attached. It works great in MacOS so of course I wanted to see how it would
work at 800x600 in netbsd1.3.3. I have mrg kernel 104. There is an odd
glitch in the video, below is the dmesg. What happens is following the
display of the sense...

intvid0 at obio0 @ f9001000: DAFB video subsystem, monitor sense 0

The display of all of the following text starting at

intvid0: 800 x 600, 65536 color

shifts to the middle of the screen and stays there....

After I log in and run X, the display is off the same way, the graphics
start in the middle of the screen and wrap around back to the middle.

It doesn't look like a sync problem, it looks like a miscalculation in
row/column offsets to me.

Any ideas?

Bob
