Yes, it is.  I understand that you want [ip_adress] to masquerade
domain.  The procedure is explained step-by-step in the Virtual
Hosting page http://www.sendmail.org/virtual-hosting.html .  However,
this sounds slightly weird to me, so maybe I've misunderstood you.

sendmail expects its configuration in /etc/sendmail.cf.  However,
current versions of sendmail come with metaconfig files which make it
easy to create the actual config data.  Get the sendmail source
distribution, and see cf/README.
