Hi Paul,

There hasn't been much progress since I wrote that page about LC040
and *BSD.  I've made some significant improvements in calculation
accuracy (which hasn't been incorporated into current, either )-:, but
it doesn't solve the LC040 problem.

Currently, I'm preparing to submit my improvements as a check point
so other people can further improve it.
