That's a good point. I know that some disk drivers are capable of
unloading themselves and then loading another driver; it's typically
an option for removable disk drivers, a checkbox labeled something
like "load driver from disk." I'd like to suggest that a booter/driver
should handle all cases where it's not called on to boot NetBSD by
doing exactly that.
