I am a newcomer to BSD so please forgive the inane question. I have
installed NetBSD 1.3.2 on a Centris 650 and am now trying to install
packages that were on the 1.3.2 CD. I copy the files onto my HD and
unpack them with tar but when I try the "make && make install" command
it stops and complains that I have no compiler. I assumed that I would
have one with the install the install sets but I can't seem to find it.
Do I have to make any changes to the Makefile to get this to work? What
am I doing wrong here?
