I'm using a Quantum Fireball 3.2 Gig model. No problems in norm usage.
I did have some problems during the install though. I installed the
base.tgz, kern.tgz, and etc.tgz. On some of the other tarballs, I had
the problems with the SCSI read #5 errors. I used cpin to copy the
rest of the tarballs in, booted into single user mode and then used
"tar -xzvpf file.tgz" to extract the rest of the stuff. Other than
that, everything's been fine.

Rog,

btw. bettertelnet is a nice piece of work. It's the only telnet client
I use. I've also gotten a fair amount of usage of the built in ftp server,
for getting stuff back to my machine. Especially on servers that I log onto
that have ftp servers disabled for various reasons. -thanks-
