pretty much exactly what it sounds like, actually.

yes.  at least i think so.  you might be able to use the mode where you
plug headphones into a jack on the cdrom and then use xcmd? to play the
cd, but there is no audio support for netbsd/mac68k yet, so we can't do
anything that requires routing the audio thru the onboard sound system.
