Yes, that's how it's supposed to be... the question mark stands for any
single character. If you type "ls /dev/cd0?", it should show you
/dev/cd0a and /dev/cd0c.

That's normal too... there isn't supposed to be a cd0 file. That command
creates all of the files needed to access the "cd0" device: cd0a, cd0c,
rcd0a, and rcd0c.

Hmm, I'm afraid I don't know what the problem is... the FAQ is correct.
Are you trying to mount a Macintosh (HFS) CDROM? Currently, NetBSD only
supports ISO9660 format discs.
