I have tried to setup anonymous ftp access... but i cant get it to work.
I'm probably in need of a more hands on instruction.

I have created a "anonymous" user, added anonymous and ftp to the
ftpusers file , and chowned the directory /pub to anonymous.
But it doen's work anyway, i get:
Dec  4 02:25:50 snutte ftpd[2198]: ANONYMOUS FTP LOGIN REFUSED FROM gumse

In what way am i confused this time ?
