It's not just your Q700... My Q840AV, too.  I'm curious whether this
problem also appears on any of the 53C80-based models.

I'm under the impression that it occurs only to us, Quadra-class users
(IOW, the 53C9x-based esp driver users), since Steve's Mac II seems to
be happy with his latest snapshot.
