I suspect not, but it's not really necessary.

A JetDirect interface emulates a lpr server so you can point /etc/printcap
at it directly.  My entry is approximately as follows:

lp|hotzlp:\
        :lp=:rm=hotzlp.jpl.nasa.gov:rp=text:mx#0:rw:sh:\
        :lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:\
        :sd=/var/spool/output/lj5_text:

Use :rp=raw: if you are sending postscript.
