I thought this could be of interest for some - the nostalgics :-) - 
here on this list:

Since yesterday there is Richard Bennett's Marinetti 2.0, the only
working PPP utility for the Apple IIGS, available at:

http://www.apple2.org/marinetti

It's free, and when I understand right, even AppleTalk/IP is
implemented.
