I used always vt220 without problems.  vt200 also ok.

Michael,

Do you mount all your partitions like /, /usr, etc. in both
of your install and boot time?  Especially, I suggest that
you should check your /etc/fstab file, I think you didn't
mount your /usr partision.

How did you partition your drive?
