Every version I've ever used has caused corruption, to one degree or
another, of varying degrees, though I have no idea what version spread
that would be. That's under MkLinux, FWIW, but the damage is similar.
The latest one is an invalid b-tree clump size, which appears to be the
only damage caused by the version I'm using now (whatever comes with
MkLinux DR3).

The general solution that MkLinux'ers use is to create a 10 meg or so
transfer partition for moving files back and forth, and if the corruption
gets too severe, reinitialize the partition.
