don't worry, the top case is _not_ misplaced.  iirc, the very first quadra
610's had 68LC040's instead of full 68040's.  this doesn't mean that the
mac is an lc mac, just that it doesn't have built-in floating point
capability.

as far as the seg faults go, tho, as ken said in another posting, he's
working on a fix.  also, you can go to the trouble of buying a full '040
processor and replacing the 'LC040 that you have.
