You need not.  Do you browse CD-ROM in MacOS, don't you?
Probably you will find text.tgz in arch/m68k folder which is
the machine independent place rather than arch/mac68k
folder.  The zero size file is symbolic link file (aka alias
in Mac world.) to there.

I don't have the CD-ROM, so I'm not 100% sure tho.
