No.  That means that the ae driver (the proper one for the chip that you
list) found the card, but couldn't determine how much RAM the card has
on it.  That probably means that it's looking for RAM in the wrong place.

Yeah.  I think there are a couple of people who can help.  I'm
unfortunately going to be off-line for a couple of days.  You will also
need to make sure that it gets the ethernet MAC address right, and that
it can properly locate the device registers.
